'Let's grow like beans' workshop organised by the ANCeSCAO District Structure of Parma APS in Italy

On the 22nd of March 2024, the ANCeSCAO, in collaboration with Dr Roberto Reggiani and some volunteers, organised a workshop on the INCREASE beans cultivation. The event was dedicated to the children of the Beneceto Primary School in Parma, Italy.

After a brief presentation of the life cycle of beans, the young farmers sowed the bean seeds in small pots and identified the different varieties with symbols chosen for easy recognition.

The pupils, together with their teachers, will now follow the growth journey, observe and participate in the bean’s life cycle, studying many related aspects, such as the importance of biodiversity.
