INCREASE joins EU projects at International Legume Society side event

On 8 June 2026, INCREASE will take part in a dedicated side event at the 5th International Legume Society (ILS) Conference, bringing together four EU-funded projects committed to enhancing the diversity, resilience and competitiveness of legumes: INCREASE, BELIS, Legume Generation and PROSPER.

The event will showcase how these initiatives are advancing legume research and innovation, from cutting-edge genomic tools and multi-omics approaches to stakeholder engagement across the value chain. Following short project presentations, two thematic sessions will highlight tools and data supporting legume innovation and best practices for connecting breeders, researchers and industry actors.

INCREASE will contribute by presenting its work on innovative genomic approaches and strategies for legume sequencing, as well as sharing experiences in stakeholder engagement alongside partner projects.

The side event will run from 14:30 to 17:00 and aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, breeders and value chain actors working towards more sustainable and competitive legume systems.
