Final SMTA Numbers & Seed Exchange Update: 193 Exchanges, and Our Seed Exchange Champions

A total of 4,344 participants have successfully accepted the SMTA (Standard Material Transfer Agreement) for the 2025 round of the INCREASE Citizen Science Experiment. This number is now final, as technical access to the SMTA has closed.
Of them, 3,077 participants have already validated the receipt of their bean seeds – thank you! That means we’re still waiting for validation from 1,267 participants who accepted the SMTA and where beans have been sent out.
Already, 1,672 participants have entered their sowing conditions in the app.

Seed Exchange for continuing participants in action!
Our community of previous round participants has initiated 193 successful seed exchanges via the INCREASE app! A total of 139 participants have shared their seeds with others – and impressively, 86 of them have done so multiple times!
