Commemoration of Mario Aguilar

It was with great sadness that we learnt that our valued consortium member Mario Aguilar, leading the INCREASE team at Universidad Nacional de la Plata - Instituto de Biotecnología y Biología Molecular, Argentina passed away in mid-July.

Only in May this year, Mario participated in our Annual Consortium Meeting in Rome, and we are thankful that we had the chance to share those precious moments together.

We lost an important consortium member, a great scientist and a dear friend. We would like to honour him wholeheartedly and thank him for his important contribution to our INCREASE project. Mario, thanks for all the knowledge and kind words you have shared with us!
